Dombra karaoke
Play a piece while the microphone listens to every stroke. At the end you see which notes were accurate and where you missed.
How it works
A cursor moves note to note while you play along on the dombra. The microphone measures the pitch and compares it with the expected note. An accurate hit turns green, a slight miss yellow, a wrong note red.
Why it helps
Hearing your own mistakes is the hardest skill to build. Beginners often do not notice they are pressing the neighbouring fret. Karaoke makes the error visible: after a run you know exactly which bar to repeat.
Tips
Play in a quiet room — background noise confuses the detection. Tune the dombra first, because scoring on an out-of-tune instrument is meaningless. Start at a slow tempo.
Frequently asked questions
How does the karaoke check my playing?
The microphone measures the fundamental frequency of the sound and compares it with the expected note. If the deviation is small, the note counts as correct.
Is my audio sent to a server?
No. The microphone audio is processed inside the browser and never leaves your device.
Why is my score low?
Usually one of three reasons: the dombra is out of tune, the room is noisy, or the tempo is too fast. Run through the tuner first, then try again at 0.4× speed.
